practices." Ivy has provided professional development for elementary
school teachers in literacy, as well as parent education workshops. Ivy
is now working in private practice to provide high-quality, individualized

practice, Ivy works closely with students and their families to support
literacy development and a love of learning in all children.

"When
my play-based preschooler hit an academic Kindergarten, both of us were
stressed. Ivy's peaceful learning environment and style helped him, not
only with skills, but to feel comfortable. Her approach of assessment
and personal rapport allowed my son, in a few months, not only to write
his name, but more importantly to begin writing words and sentences from
his own experiences."
