Parents have many questions about their child’s literacy. You may have important questions such as:

*
How can I best support my child’s reading and writing progress at home?

*
How can I gain a deeper understanding of aspects of the reading and writing process and how they apply to my child’s literacy development?

*
What strategies can I use to help my child other than “sound it out?”
*

How can I address my concerns about my child’s reading or writing progress?

*
How can I have a positive impact on my child’s attitude toward toward reading and writing?
*
I am homeschooling my child. How can I develop solid and effective literacy instruction at home?
Supporting young readers and writers can be a complex process. Focusing on developmentally appropriate, research-based approaches, I provide parent consultation and coaching services to support parents to have powerful and effective ways to support their children’s literacy development at home.
